Following academic study, work experience and close working relations with a number of
highly regarded individuals within the Stonemasonry and Conservation industry we are
pleased to announce the development of our research department.

Alongside continuing professional development, further academic study and first
hand experience of the issues facing stone conservation, we are pleased to publish our
first piece of research, an introduction to the subject of Nanolime for use in Stone Consolidation.
This was published in Natural Stone Specialist magazine in August 2012 and the full
document is now available here:

Over the coming months, we hope to develop this research with a local University and
a number of industry experts and we will continue to publish our findings on this new
section of our site.
